IceRobotics has been acquired by Peacock Technology, an advanced engineering and robotic automation company. This is part of Peacock’s strategy to develop and expand its suite of dairy farming products and services.

Peacock can now offer a range of complementary products. Plus it is well-placed to develop and provide new intelligent solutions for the dairy sector. For example, vision-based insights.

The expanded company will be known as Peacock Technology Limited. It has its headquarters in Stirling, Scotland.

Ian Hamilton, Peacock’s Chairman says: “This is a transformational deal for both companies. It is also a significant development within the agricultural engineering sector. It creates a scaled-up business with an unrivalled service proposition to meet farmers’ needs and support the dairy industry in addressing the challenges of a net zero carbon future.”

Andrew Peacock, the company’s CEO, adds: “This merger will allow an improved service to the IceRobotics and CowAlert client base. It also strengthens our product offering to existing Peacock customers.”
