International Marketing Manager

The role of the post is to support business development with specialist knowledge of both the dairy sector and international marketing, to help drive sales and refine our product offering. The initial international territory focus will be the UK, EU and USA.  Further international territories will be added by mutual agreement. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating a global marketing strategy

  • Defining and managing the marketing budget and monitor progress against budget and goals.

  • Identifying regional and local market trends and customizing digital approaches in specific countries.

  • Drive company brand, vision and values to build market presence and strength.

  • Determine the sales potential for new audiences and markets.

  • Assist various departments to initiate strategic decisions and manage development of regional and international marketing collateral.

  • Develop, manage and organise all marketing materials and provide an interface with company staffs and international distributors, including cross-culturally appropriate social media messaging.

  • Managing and developing marketing assistant and potential marketing interns.

  • Maintain all communication with Directors and regular reporting.

 

You will report to the Sales Director, but you will work closely with colleagues across the whole company including R&D and Operations. You will use your industry knowledge and contacts to help us define and grow our product portfolio, product roadmap and services.

What is expected of you?

As International Marketing Manager, you are responsible for consistent, professional communication and branding internationally, from marketing plans to business development activities. From research to campaign, from brand positioning and organising major events to continually monitoring competitors activities and positioning within the markets.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, friendly, hands-on professional with an excellent network. and:

  • Hold a relevant degree level (or equivalent) qualification and 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Have experience of the animal husbandry market.

  • Have an excellent understanding of marketing and business strategy.

  • Language skills would be preferable.
